From the very first consultation, Dr. Dastgir made me feel at ease. They took the time to explain every step, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire procedure. Their bedside manner is exceptional – warm, professional, and genuinely caring. During the actual procedure, I was amazed at how gentle and efficient they were. I had been nervous going in, but there was absolutely no pain, and the recovery has been quick and easy thanks to the thorough aftercare instructions and follow-up. If you're looking for a dentist who is highly skilled, compassionate, and truly cares about your comfort and experience, I can't recommend Dr. Dastgir enough . This was by far the best dental experience I've ever had!

The reason for my recent visit was to replace a damaged crown. This was my first experience using this practice. I was looking for highly rated office near to my home in Reston. They couldn’t have been located more conveniently and the multiple reviews consistently rated the practice at 5.0/5.0 stars. They were very accommodating and were able to schedule me for the next day. What began as a preliminary exam to determine what approach to take to replace the damaged crown, turned into a 2+ hour procedure as they were actually able to start the replacement procedure. During the entire process, Dr. Budala and her staff were very caring and professional. Although the actual replacement is still a couple of weeks away, the immediate issue was dealt with quickly and pleasantly. I am pleased with my choice of a new dental practice.

First class experience all the way. Dr. was awesome. Did my teeth cleaning himself. Scraped with minimum pain and no anesthesia and did it all including x-rays in less than an hour. His assistant was awesome too. Highly recommend him if you need a dentist. A+ Experience!

I have practiced general dentistry in the greater Philadelphia area for nearly 23 years. I am a graduate of the Temple University School of Dentistry and completed a general practice residency at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. In addition to general dentistry, I perform many other dental services such as root canal therapy, oral surgery, and clear aligner therapy. I recently became an American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine qualified dentist.

My wife and I relocated to northern Virginia and look forward to becoming part of this diverse and talented community. When not in the office, you will find me at any one of Reston’s amazing tennis courts or the challenging golf courses this area has to offer.

My goal is to listen to my patients’ concerns and advise them the best way forward, providing options whenever possible. To me, building a partnership with each patient is the most important aspect of practicing dentistry. I consider it a privilege partnering with you and delivering the highest level of dental care.

Dr. Tonya Budala is a Northern Virginia native who grew up in Fairfax, VA. She completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry in the District of Columbia. She then pursued an additional year of advanced training in a General Practice Residency at the Washington DC VA Medical Center serving our veterans. She is a highly accomplished and skilled practitioner who is dedicated to the lifelong pursuit of continued education while treating her patients with compassion.

Outside of the office, she loves to play tennis and practice yoga. She enjoys live music, concerts, and traveling. She would love to hear about your favorite music venues and top destination spots at your next visit!
